Tapatalk has been an app with diminishing returns for a very long time now. At its current rate, before next spring there will be an advertisement between every post. I only use it for a specialty site that doesn't have a mobile version and it's become more and more difficult to use. I'd rather just pay a flat amount for an ad free experience as opposed to the monthly fee they want.

It's not that I mind paying monthly for services, but I need a little more of a value add than Tapatalk offers when I can access all any site they offer through a laptop with much more functionality.

Yes, and it's probably because I'm using a Nokia 2.2 with an under-powered MediaTek SoC, but the ads can take a long time to load, and when they do they push all of the actual content I want to see further down the page and I sometimes accidentally tap on the ads when I really want to tap on a post or scroll.

I've found that using the CB Forums website in a mobile browser can be a more pleasant experience, by comparison.
