    Dear Blaze,

I wonder if we could support users and potential users of Planet Computers with their Gemini & Cosmo Communicator and also FX Tec with their Pro1?

I for one would be interested to see if Blackberry's Hub, etc., software runs well on their landscape devices. I'd like to see side by side pictures of these devices with Blackberry devices and also the weight compared. I'd even like to see you and CBK review these!

Also, I'd like to float the idea that we become more a physical keyboard supporting place, with our strong BlackBerry roots always present but also embracing all PKBs? Let's see what happens with BB and BB Mobile but either way, people like 'us' like proper BB devices have had our interest piqued by these new landscape devices. There are users on CB who's opinions I would really appreciate hearing on these devices if they were to get their hands on them.

What I did find was affiliated to the companies themselves and I think the independence of our forums would be a better home for them. In the case of the Cosmo Communicator, the forums were hardly alive with new posts and I think I'd gain more from the opinions of ex BBOS and BB10 users than users who have switched from Android/iOS or Linux lovers. The Pro1 seems to have a more active forums of users.

In the future, when using the Passport becomes unrealistic ('H' and 'K' are become troublesome on the keyboard, let alone Browser, etc.) , I would like either of these devices to at least try. I *want* the Cosmo Communicator because of the Psion 5 type keyboard, but think the Pro1 might be a little slimmer for the pocket.

    Links:

**FX Tec Pro 1 (shipping soon):
    https://www.fxtec.com/

    https://community.fxtec.com/ (quite active)

**Planet Computers Gemini (available to buy) and Cosmo Communicator (shipping soon, I've been in contact and they said I could probably have one mid-November):
https://www.www3.planetcom.co.uk/ (website not great on BB10 browser)

https://developer.planetcom.co.uk/ (very inactive and doesn't mention new Cosmo Communicator)
https://forum.xda-developers.com/gemini-pda (only mentions Planet's older Gemini PDA)
Gemini Planet – Everything you need to know about the Gemini PDA (looks inactive)

Of course, the obvious answer is that I buy one of each device and report back on here. I'm tempted, but just not quite ready to spend so much on two phones after my recent experience of trying Android (on the Motion) and not really liking it.

There hasn't been enough support / interest thus far for a dedicated forum for any of the devices including the Titan, feel free to use the Android forums though. - https://forums.crackberry.com/android-f169/

Frankly, it's more of a laptop replacement rather than a mobile device. And a 6" wide keyboard is essentially useless for significant typing.

I really have no idea what market this is for.

I will say most my family once owned a horizontal slider... back in their dumb phone days. They were all pretty good on them, but they were much smaller than that. Few that I know had some of the first DROIDS that were horizontal sliders...

I have no doubt they'll sell thousands of them... probable a handful of BlackBerry fans will be among those.

The Nokia C6 (2010) horizontal keyboard was 4" wide - just a hair wider than the Passport keyboard. That's about as big as is practical.

Yeah, def watching it. Not opposed to adding a forum should the need / demand present itself on a larger scale.

I’ll bet if somebody went and setup a gofundme payable to Bla1ze numbered account in the Cayman Islands we’d see changes ;-D
