I came across a battery in a e commerce site..
I want to know whether it will work in my Z10 without causing any problems to the phone.
(I mean.. i want to know
1. Whether it is compatible to Z10
2. Or cause any problems to phone after using it)

I want to know this because the genuine original BlackBerry Z10 battery comes with 1800 mAh. But this battery comes with 2680 mAh.
My BlackBerry Z10 is STL 100-3, OS version 10.3.2.2876.

if it's the same model number you can use it. This is an extended battery. Some people have had decent luck with them. As far as damage to your phone, i don't think there is anything it could do except NOT give you an extended period of usage.

How could it have a higher mAh rating if it's the same size as the stock battery? Or does it come with a custom back cover or something?

Question is..
Whether BlackBerry Z10 model is designed ideal to run in 1800 mAh battery?
Does using other than original battery cause any problem to the board/OS ?
If so, i can buy the genuine one.
