Haven't updated my Classic yet. Is there any particular reason to do so? What's wrong with 10.3.1?

nothing. and there's nothing wrong with 10.3.2 either. Many of us use it and there's nothing wrong.

I don't understand people sometimes. I've had 10.3.2.281,500,698,2204,2252,2339. Each keep getting better and battery life has been the best on PassportSQW100-1/10.3.2.2339

I just find from experience it's better not to fix it if it ain't broke. Pdinos3 writes he's getting noticeably improved battery life on his Passport with the update.

I would be curious to know if Classic users have noticed any specific improvements with the update. Is it really worth doing? If both versions are fine, what's the advantage of changing?

Well, you can't go back below 10.3.2 once there. That said I put 10.3.2 on one of my Z10s and not only is it a great all around OS, but seems to have cured a few annoying issues. Look, this isn't like a bunch of kids at UCLA hitting the bong, pumping these updates into the world to see what happens. They're OEM.

No, I know there's no bong involved. I mean, I hope there isn't. But what are the benefits? I'm not having any issues, so I'm reticent to change anything. What deficiencies were you experiencing which you noticed were improved with the update?

I find that the Web browser isn't enough "good". That's my only issue with 10.3.2.25xx. I'm in the beta and the browser freeze few looongs seconds. Sometimes the Z key is no-effective. For everything else, no real issue noticeable.

I would think that if 10.3.1 already satisfies your needs, then you would find no advantage in upgrading your phone to 10.3.2. Just continue using the same software. However, if you seek some new features and fixes or if you just want a new adventure, consider upgrading to 10.3.2. Forum members have posted their positive and negative findings herein. I think you should read those postings and then judge trade offs against your own criteria. I am happy with 10.3.2.2339 on my Z10STL100-3. However, I will install the next leak/beta/official as soon as I possibly can after it is dropped.

I'm on a classic with the latest update. Battery life stabalizes after a day or two.
The kill switch introduced is something I appreciated the most!
My double typing on my Classic seemed to have improved a lot. No clue what they've done under the hood for it.

Kill switch is part of the 10.3.2 updates which is why when the carriers finally push the updates, it is mandatory.

Sign in to BlackBerry Protect. In the event your phone goes missing, you can: view location of device, play a sound on your device, display a message on your device (which will also password lock your phone), password lock the device (and change the password as well if you'd like), wipe the device, or flag device as stolen (which permanently erases all data on the device).

Lag issue with calling and the studdering from the volume up or down is gone. I'm having a BlackBerry music issue though. Seems the music is not being picked up. I'm able to play it from file manager but not BlackBerry music app.

So far I'm getting the impression that 10.3.2 has annoying issues of its own -- I still can't understand from the posts what its big advantage is supposed to be over 10.3.1.

The update introduces a "kill switch" -- but what's the big advantage of that over what BlackBerry Protect already does with 10.3.1?

Some people have referred to a perceived reduction in double-strikes. But maybe they're just poor typists. I've read it takes a couple of days "for battery life to stabilize" -- how does this represent an advantage over not doing the update? Sounds like a pain in the ***. Why would I want to destabilize my battery for an update with vague advantages?

Is there any definitive information -- i.e. 10.3.2 does this, this, this and this specific thing that 10.3.1 does not do?

If the advantages of 10.3.2 over 10.3.1 are so ambiguous/hard to define, I guess the question is answered.
