    Why can't a BBM user just like or comment on his contacts' pix or repost stuff he saw on a channel on his own profile, his channel (like a retweet) or to other apps? Now that Facebook clearly is trying to enter BBM territory by buying whatsapp, BBM can give a total experience by adding these features in the next update.

    They might. Enhancements are being added as time goes by. Think how different the current OS is as opposed to the one at launch.
