Would be nice to hear from him/her right about now.

I see so many vultures circling BBRY in the media that I can't make out if there's a carcass or not. Time for the CEO to at least shoo them away and send a message.

    Unless...

Oh come on. Any CEO worth having will stop working mid-sentence in order to make a public statement because random internet-commenter-guy/gal-with-wolf-avatar asks him to. I mean, obviously.

    And yeah: touche.

Just frustrated with all the negativity going on, that's all. I wish there were more fight coming out of Waterloo than there currently is...

They would only make a public statement if the rumors were categorically false. If they are essentially true then they wouldn't say anything, now, would they?

BlackBerry has been VERY quite. Is it because so much was said about all the statements that Thor made about the wonderful launch of the Z10? Maybe. Could it be they just don't have anything to say? possible My money would be that thing have gone horrible wrong and that nothing they can say is going to make things better.

I agree. I understand being CEO comes with a lot of work and he may be extremely busy but it would be nice to see him put out a press release to put to rest some of the negativity in the media. I'm assuming BBRY has a Marketing & Communications employee that could right a speech for him of sorts.

Funny, I was at a suicide prevention training course last night. Signs and signals that indicate thoughts of suicide are when one becomes silent, withdrawn and starts giving things away and making obscure statements about a way out of their troubles.

Would corporate suicide look any different?

More likely he's perusing the luxury real estate listings for the French Riviera . . . with $55 million, one can get a hell of a house and still have a good $45 million or so left over.

Given that today is the 4th (3rd in the US) workday of the quarterly close and the call is three weeks away, he likely is not busy prepping.

Mr. Heins has been noticeably silent since the last earning call (except for his early morning interview with CB). He has been muzzled.

That didn't last more then a few minutes based on the "new" info that came from Kevin and Team.
