    These two directors have been also responsible for decline of BlackBerry. There are so many people who can provide value as directors.
    Also, no more games by Watsa. No more of that spurious $9 bid and $200 million breakup fee.

    Can a CEO remove members of exec board even if the CEO wants to? I think it is more like the other way around. You should probably write to Prem.

    No a CEO cannot remove board members. The bylaws will explain when and how board members can be removed.

    In a publicly traded corporation, board members are elected by the shareholders, and a CEO is selected by board members.

    I talked to Chen for you. He let me know that removing board members isn't his job nor something that he is able to do.

    What would be interesting to know is how many shares they hold, because even if they are removed, then can just vote themselves back in the next annual shareholders meeting provided they own enough shares to do so.
