A whole new market is emerging now of wireless display adapters & protocols - Chromecast, Miracast, AirPlay, HDMI, Wi-Fi Direct, etc.

Shouldn't BlackBerry be there & do that ?

I'm guessing they are simply going to adopt whatever Google comes up with for Android. What other way is there to do it? Manufacturers are going to/already have adopted the Apple and Google protocol. That's probably going to be it. It's more like "a whole new market" has already emerged.

BB 10 devices do support Miracast, W-Fi Direct, HDMI. I use my Passport and Z30 to connect via Micrsoft Wireless Display adapter all the time. Before that, HDMI. The Priv should support Chromecast with no problem. We don't know about what other protocols it may support -- yet.
