That is like the class nerd throwing his 16th Birthday party at Chucky Cheese and sending out invites....

The time for courting and wooing developers is sadly long past....
Of course it wouldn't hurt to invite some of their existing big supports up for a visit. Nemory and Chen should go out on the town together.

BlackBerry supplied developers with dev devices and toured the world with BlackBerry Jam. It was a great effort, but fell short. Apple recognizes the need to have an existing app ecosystem for when they release their watch. It'll be interesting to see how that goes for them.

I agree, BB should invite developers back to HQ for a convention with escorts, strippers, drugs and alcohol.
BB will get apps written for them in no time and those devs will be back every year with updates.

Did you miss all the dev events that BB have done for BB10 or all those developer devices they shipped out to people, implying that they should copy apple by doing something they have already been doing is a fairly idiotic thing to suggest.

The developers are invited to the campus because Apple isn't going to allow any of these watches to get into the hands of the public before launch, however, they want the key apps to be ready for release. It's not a meet & greet.
