This is such a basic idea, and yet they seem oblivious to it. Most electronic devices I've bought lately have had them. Apple, GoPro, Nikon.... all with decent marketing firms/departments.

They should do two. The Blackberry symbol and the BBM "spark" symbol. I know Crackberry guys had some, but I don't know if copyright would allow anyone just to make them.

You could do this easily. Just go into any cinema, and ask to buy one of their posters. On the bottom there will be a "COMING SOON" sticker. Just stick that on the back. People will know its a Blackberry.

I can't speak for the person you quoted but I have honestly never seen an Apple logo on anything other than an Apple product.
