Just an idea...

Shouldn't BlackBerry give a promo code every now and then 50USD or so credit to your bbid to buy from app world with every purchase of a BlackBerry, instead of a discount.

This will pump tens of millions to developers and keeps the customer happy.

Edit: Besides if you get $50, the devs will take notice so many people are getting free money and jack their prices up on apps that should only cost $1.99 at most.

They did promos in similar spirit like that a few years back and fans did rejoice but did it result in more sales? Not really.

I would think it should help, if your already a BlackBerry user, may give you a little nudge to upgrade, and the more your invested in a store the more attached you get.

Dunno I kinda see it makes sense and supports our developers!

As for price jacking, easily capped by BlackBerry in case foul play is found.

And dude 1.99 for an app on BlackBerry world is NOT expensive! BlackBerry developers have way less clients!

Dont need money from BlackBerry, only need buy as gift and sent to friends. I think Dev will more money very much. Because not much Peoples having PayPal account but they could payment by money in their country to their friend.
