    If these quotes about BlackBerry remotely true, then the issue with BlackBerry doesn't seem to be lacking in engineering talent, but the ability to react to market wants and having it delivered out of the gate before some management level decide to veto it out.

    The comments from staff going back through the heyday years is very interesting indeed.

    It seems from very early on, BlackBerry had a poor quality senior management problem, even when they were selling phones and growing market share.

    Let this be a lesson to all you budding CEOs out there.

    Empower your front line staff, and train your middle and senior management to get the productivity out of each' Individual ' staff member, or face the fall and struggle s that subdue BlackBerry now.

    BB has lots of work internally to do and there is no surprise there. Hence why Chen is making moves very fast to rebuild the internals.

    BlackBerry does have a lot of work to do, but cutting off the problems before they get worse is a good way to start. Having executives for the executives is a waste of money, which they don't have
