Have you been to BlackBerry's corporate website lately? What a disaster. This design and font, brings me back to 1980, oh wait those were BlackBerry's glory years... However, the website is not going to win any design awards, that's for sure.

If you think the last version was bad, they have somehow managed to make it even worse now:

    Blackberry.com what a design disaster....-bbwow.jpg

OK, maybe not worse. That may be giving too much credit to the earlier design. I really, really wish BB would outsource the site if they have no more qualified designers on staff.

BTW, if you click on IoT you get a nice, neat looking page which was their old design. The one that looked like an actual professional design.

It's strange that they kept that design there and on the smartphones page. Now those look like a totally different company. The Enterprise Software page, OTOH, is an unholy mess.

It looks mediocre, in a cardboard, Dilbert sort of way. BB basically has no aesthetic sense. The PRIV name and marketing materials were/are atrocious.

Maybe in some Zen sense they're in harmony with the phantom cubicle-dwellers they espouse as their market.

Let me tell you the real story imo. one day there was a team of web developers working at Blackberry ... then the next day they got laied off

Now a group of interns are doing the website for Blackberry and that is the best they could come up with LOL.

I went to the site and instantly thought I was on a parked domain / ad site.

I own a web development firm and would be embarrassed to point anyone to BlackBerry's website, even as a BlackBerry fan and "evangelist".

Maybe an Australian who was cryogenically frozen in 1981 designed the new website.

But seriously, if I were a BBRY shareholder -- which I once was -- I would sell immediately. No company that puts out a website that looks like this is making good decisions anywhere. I'm not even kidding.

Could be worse. Spanish website www.blackberry.es redirects to es.blackberry.com and afterwards throws a 404 not found error.

    Great marketing.

Oh my goodness. This is still a multibillion dollar company, right? What's the best place to report these things?

    - Guys your link from Spain doesn't work.
    - Oh, and by the way, you need a decent web design firm. There are a lot of good ones still out there. Someone on this thread owns one, just please stop embarrassing yourselves and hire one.

Cutting costs on your brand image is the worse thing you can do. Good quality design doesn't have to be expensive. You could buy a 50 USD template that looks better than that.

Cant fault Aussies' fashion as they like to wear bikinis and prowl in the mal only with additional hot pants over their bikinis.

There was no internet in 1980 and RIM was even thought of. What are you talking about?
