Hey there, just got an idea that I hope would find some ears. After the Passport Silver Edition and the possible slow submission of new BB10 hardware... how about a Blacberry Classic Black edition, abit like the Graphite PDP9983. With some premium, less industrial, feel. Something in between Q10 and the Classic in matter of overall look and feel.

I think more colours is an easy way to grab more customers,

from a sales person point of view, you wouldn't believe the look people have in their eyes when they must have a "gold" phone... they don't care if you have to pay more, some people are hooked on specific colours,
I will pay extra for red, even if it's exactly the same...

A device is not only there for the raw functionality, it's a extension of one's personality now, that's why people are willing to pay money for special colors just the same way they spend money on other fashion accessories... :-)
