Definitely wish the man well. Like him or not, the stuff he and Apple have done has sparked amazing competition and innovation from competitors, and we're all benefiting from it.

+1
The more competition the better... for everyone.
Hope to see him back soon.
Competition definitely sharpens the curve. If it weren't for competition we would all be still be lugging our "portable" phones around in a big grey box. Best wishes Steve!

I've developed a respect for him, playing hardball with the mega-corporation Micro$oft for all these decades. It doesn't matter if you like him or hate him, actually there is no point to hate him, just because biased and paid off business opponents doing so.
Just remember, without macs, there would have been no Windows 95, 98,2000,NT, and Windows Vista (they were all pi$$ poor copies of Mac OS-es). The iphones are revolutionary devices, just having them around and the ipods and pads....they all certainly push the envelope forward and essentially that's all what we want.
I agree with 18to12fifty and Shodan775, I may not like Apple itself, but I truly do wish Mr Jobs a speedy recovery. If it were not for Steve and his business, this world would be a much much different place.
I am a total Apple hater. I will never, ever buy any of their horrid under functioned and overpriced products.
I would not wish what is happening to Steve Jobs on anybody. I sincerely wish him well and I hope that he makes a rapid and total recovery. My thighs go out to his friends and family at this most worrying time.
Steve Jobs is a mover and a shaker. He has prompted exponential change in the industry.
He's eccentric, narcissistic, brilliant, demanding, and above all, a fighter.
I could never understand how people can say they hate Steve Jobs, especially since 99.999% of the time, they have never met him.
I don't wish death on him, and anyone who does, please take a moment to realize that there are people in this world who love him dearly.
(His family and friends)
I am sure you wouldn't want people wishing death on someone you love, or are close to.
Here's prayin' for a full recovery but something inside me says he's taking this "medical leave" to spend his remaing time with family (I seriously hope I'm way wrong on this).
Unlike his first LOA, he didn't give a time frame in which he would return this time. That would be concerning. Regardless what platform of mobile device or PC you use, this guy stimulated progress across the board in technology. Truly one of the greats.
