I'm soon switching over to the iphone 3gs for working purposes, so I'm gonna be dropping my tour and verizon. I just renewed my contract in late august. Is there any way they might pay for the 175 dollar cancellation fee? Should I approach them with the question or would they look at me like a have 3 heads?

the only way you can get out of that is if you complain to verizon that the coverage in your area sucks. thats what i did and put in a trouble ticket. it came back that my area was a known trouble spot so i left verizon for att and verizon dropped the etf
if you are switching over for work reasons , have your job pay for it...especially if they are the reason why you are switching...
