31 days divided by two equals 15.5 days. So the second half of July begins at 12:00pm on Friday July 16th.
After speaking to the tech today, he
said they have no clue, but if he was
a betting man, it will be before 8/10.
It's a friend's bday and she's been
waiting to get it before her bday or
at least have it ordered.
Steve Jobs announced at the presser today that the white iPhone 4 is expected
by the end of the month.
but in limited quanties....will we even be able to get one?
I've been sitting on the sidelines wanting to see a white iphone4 in person before deciding.
I'm really starting to question whether it's worth even considering the white one. Since they're having issues with building them in quantity, I'm concerned that there may be a high possibility of cosmetic issues over time. Anyone else thinking similarly?
I think I might get a white one!!

They ship out July 30th, but it's unknown the amount or when they will start getting more. Jobs said that it will start out slow, my guess maybe this will alleviate some of the need for the Black iPhone. If the quantities are anywhere I think they are going to be its not going to be an easy feat to get the white.
It'll be released July 30th I believe.

i think this glass factory stuff is all crap. i think they bumped it back in light of these antenna issues and want it to be perfect..either way. i want one whenever it coems out LOL
I think it's so the 30 days are up. I'm one who would
have exchanged my black for a white. I'll just have
to pay more now, although I do have a line that is
eligible. =(
how are people on ebay selling pre-ordered white iphone 4's ? do they have a secret way of getting there hands on one?
I really don't think it is. The fact that the faceplate is now white and the fact
that the glass is now glued to the faceplate on top of that could cause real
problems. The last thing Apple needs is Glassgate after the antenna thing.
Because these are people that will or believe they will have some as soon as it's available. So you buy from them rather than take your chances with Apple where you may or may not get one if the demand is there. It's kind of dumb but they still do it and some people probably buy as well especially people who live in countries that don't get the stuff immediately at launch.
I bet they dont announce a date until after the 24th when peoples 30 days is up. Would cause many returns on black if they did before

Wow. You have to wonder whether this will affect them offering it in multiple color on the next model.
I honestly think making them multiple colors is a bit too much. I can see them making
the 3GS in 4 or 5 colors though. I wouldn't put that past them.
