Pretty easy for IMEI

Settings>General>About>Scroll down

To see if it's unlocked, there are services on the Internets that can check for you. Alternatively, stick in a SIM from another carrier.

You can try this website. Looks like it can do what your asking but I can't check for you myself.

REALLY?????? This post is still live... When us BB users ask questions several times like (Skype on BlackBerry?) most of the time it's removed BUT THEY ALLOW THIS????.. Buddy go ask ios for questions... Where was this forum started? I know we don't have an ios forum

I remember when imei check was free this summer. Many website offered free IMEI check (locked/unlocked, blacklisted/barred/blocked, and the most important for IMEI unlock locked carrier). In the beginning of Autumn it became paid service. If you want to check locked/unlocked status, it is for free. But if you will find out that your device is locked you need to find the carrier to unlock it and this service is paid. There are many sites that offers carrier check and the prices differs from 10 bucks! to 2 bucks. I know legit carrier checker that do it for 1.99 and no need to pay for checking locked/unlocked status.
