I wanna get an iphone to use on tmobile. Does it matter what model I get since I can't use 3g on it ? I can get a 2g for pretty darn cheap will it work the same as a 3g model ??? Any info would be great

If the phone can be unlocked and take a SIM then yes it will work.

doesnt matter which model you get, you will only be able to get edge network. I would just find a jailbroken/unlocked 3g one for less than $300 should be pretty easy to find. Yes 2g will work as well, personal preference with 3g since I had no problems with it, just make sure not to upgrade in Itunes

It does matter, just not for 3G purposes.

3G will give you the GPS + compass

3Gs will give you more RAM (makes it faster), faster processor and better camera with autofocus along with everything the 3G gives you

But of course, the 2G will be cheaper

android is coming on pretty strong.....made the switch from a bb curve to iphone now to nexus one... liked all of them but as of now the n1 is probably my favorite.

As for the iphone question, just get a 3g, I think you may mms with 2g if jailbroken most likely, cost of 3g should be under 300 and that is a high price point. There are a few locals ones on sale for 200 give or take.

if i decide to ever go back to blackberry at and t has some good choices
