I wanted to try out vlingo on the iPhone, but when I go to download it, it takes
me to the app store, I went to sign up but then it asked for a
cc card. is there a way to get the free apps without giving that?"

I never have like giving out my cc number online since I had my
identity stolen. Its not like I was trying to buy an app.

Nope, you need to set up a iTunes account to access anything in the app store.

There was a way to make an account with out using a credit card,
it just took a while to get it to work, they were having problems with
the app store thats why i could not do it at first.

What are some of the good free apps?
I am not into facebook or anything like that thou.
