Apparently, the Verizon version of the iPhone 5 is GSM unlocked. This is extremely good news for frequent travelers out of the country, especially since the Verizon iPhone 5 has the most LTE bands of any phone. Apparently, you can even stick in an ATT SIM and it will work, but only on HSPA+.
