hey guys my dad gave me his apple iphone 2g for my bb bold and i needed to erase his contact so wiped the device by going to general and wiping it after it was EVERYTHING WAS GONE I MEAN EVERY THING NO PHNONE ICON NO NOTHING PLEASE HELP!!!!!

That is weird. I would plug the iPhone into iTunes and just do a restore. Create it as a new phone with whatever name you want. Everything will come back.
Also, you should have kept the Bold IMO. I wouldn't trade my Bold for a 2G device. :(

agreed ! I had a bold and would no way give it up for a 2g iphone, I did however for a 3g iphone lol.
yea i would never trade a bold for a 2g iphone i wouldnt trade my bold for anything less than a 3gs unless there was money involved lol
you should just be able to plug it in with itunes and it should detect the phone in recovery mode and go from there
I was just thinking the same thing. 3G maybe, 3Gs in a heartbeat, but for a 2G, I'd want some extra bucks to give up a bold (or a Storm too for that matter)
...what happened, did the restore happen to work? Also, it wasn't jailbroken before, was it?
