I think that if you're leaning towards the iPhone, you should wait it out until the next generation one comes out which is rumored to be very soon, like within a few weeks or a month or so. The iPhone 4 doesn't have quite the specs as the Galaxy S II, so if you're leaning towards an iP4 now, you'll definitely wanna pick up the next gen. iPhone instead of either of these two.

Android cannot use iPhone apps and vice versa.

ok well i got a blackberry curve 3g and i'm tired of blackberrys and wan't to try something different. i'm looking at getting a iphone 4 or a samsung galaxy s2.

i've seen and used both phones in store and i like both. but im wondering is android better then iphone or vice versa? can androids use iphone apps?

at the moment i'm kind of leaning towards the iphone.

i haven't heard nothing about an iphone 5 here in canada....

It is expected within a few months at the latest, not officially but still. I say try to hold out as long as possible, otherwise they're both good phones.
