I have an ipod touch (my 2nd) and I am growing frustrated with the wifi speeds that I am getting. Videos on youtube take an age to stream compared to a computer and general surfing is much slower than I see on my mac, all this while I am practically sitting on top of the router.

Is this typical of iphones/touches? I have a 16mb connection and it is very quick on my macbook and my wife's laptop.

Well it's still a phone. Do you have a better with other phones on wifi? It's not supposed to be as fast as your PC.

What you will notice though is wap sites are crazy fast.

For example... Wifi on my iPhone on the wap on cb is faster than any other device I'ved used on wifi.
