Not necessarily, it's how you utilise everything, and given Blackberry is the company to go for security, permissions could be added like any other app out there.
They talking about something way beyond Siri, Cortana, o Google Now, and whatever BlackBerry is preparing. They talking about something that if it works, and that's a big if, could alter the way with interact with machines. They're talking about a functional Artificial Intelligence that puts to shame almost everything that exist at the moment.

Yup I read it. They said this is going beyond ai's on phones and whatnot which leads me to believe that this might be offered as a hardware addition and not software. It'd make sense with everything they said. Buy this AI and connect through bluetooth or something to anything. lol just my opinion

Well, the system that you, the user, will see would be an app or something like that. The actual hardware and servers and everything will be somewhere else, like in Siri, Cortana, etc.
I saw an article today about a guy that asked Siri how to get rid of a body. I suppose Radical Al would have been much better equipped for that sort of thing.
" I do not think that word means what you think it means. "

Lol. Um, maybe the radical UI would respond "I don't recommend that type of action"?
