Anyone know if the Iphone 3G or 3GS can send MMS picture texts. Do both the 3G and 3GS do this out of the box, or is there a software upgrade to be able to do this. Any assistance would be appreciated.

The newest releases of the iPhone, if not preloaded out of the box, do currently have the upgrade available that allows MMS.

If you are on ATT and the phone does not have the mms update, itunes will prompt you to install a carrier update when you connect the phone to the computer. Install this small update, reboot the phone (they forget to tell you this part) and the mms option now appears on your picture options.
