Can you use songs that you download from iTunes as ringtones?

Not true. If you have a Mac all you have to do is burn a copy of your music to a cd and reimport them into iTunes. That will get rid of the restriction on making ring tones as well as the restriction on the number of times you can burn the song to a cd. I usually do this when ever I get enough songs to fill up a CD. Then use Garage Band import the non restricted song and to make the ring tone. Works like a charm. Don't know how to do this on a PC.

Or you could do what everyone else does...Google iphone ringtones or m4r and have at it. Most are free and already formatted. Just DL and install.
