I'm getting a 3g iphone for my gf...that happens to be unlocked.
she is on ATT so there is no reason to have it unlocked..if i restore it to factory settings will it re-lock...and not brick?

Yes. If it is jailbroken and you restore it will go back to factory defaults. Unless it is factory unlocked.

not just jailbroken..the phone is not factory unlocked tho...i think it was done with blackra1n
