- What are some of your key settings? I am never getting days like most of you.

Two Push email accounts
Minimal notifications, only for email, calendar, and reminders
Location services off
wifi on, not looking for connections
I usually get 4-5 hours of active usage, with 18 or so standby and that is a full day. I am usually in the red, below 20% and need to charge overnight. I have most other settings as recommended but never getting more than a day without a charge.11-22-11 04:18 PMLike 0 - I have 2 push email accounts. Notifications for email calendar Facebook messages. What's app. And weather. I have location services turned on. Wifi on. Bluetooth on. This is my 2 nd 4s so I haven't yet had a chance to get t to 0% and do a full charge yet.

Mikos reset your network settings. Kill the battery until phone shuts off, full charge and let us know.11-22-11 05:13 PMLike 0 -

I also have a question for you guys/gals. I was going throughout my diagnostics & usage screen. I came across 8 entries all listed together called "log aggregated" on for each day starting from 11/14, 11/5 11/16 11/17 11/18 11/19 11/20 & 11/21. Does anyone know what this means? I did google but couldn't find an answer. I also have "automatically send" set for the reports to Apple. TIA for who can answer this11-22-11 05:45 PMLike 0 -
There's also a bunch of things listed with "awwd" also.
If I had to guess, it seems very similar to the event log you'd find on a bb thru the alt+LgLg.Last edited by iPinkk; 11-22-11 at 05:59 PM.

Now, as for that 'log aggregated' i did more digging this morning and FINALLY found something about it on Apple.com support part of the website. this is what one poster described it as:
"These are generated midnight every day and contains information about usage and power related items. These values are posted to Apple every day, so they are collecting those results."
Now, it makes total sense to me, as i did have "automatically send" turned ON in the diags and usage section, and basically that log aggregated just sends to apple what gets used and how on my iphone--so cleary nothing to be alarmed about
i still dont know what all the "awdd" entries are though. i'm about to search that next
EDIT: ok that was easy enough: "awdd" found this there also:
"Diagnostic info is automatically sent to Apple if you enabled that when you first setup the phone.
To disable it:
Settings > About > Diagnostics & Usage > Don't Send"
awdd stands for "apple/ wireless/ diagnostic/ daemon" being that i HAD my 'auto send' turned ON, this is why those entries were appearing !!
i also found this definition: "After further investigation, the awdd process is part of the WirelessDiagnostic.framework and oddly not part of the AppleWirelessDiagnostic.framework. So I retract my previous statement (except for the "d", which does indeed stand for daemon and not data).
It does look like the awdd stands for: Apple Wireless Diagnosstic Daemon.
The logs are named after the respective awdd process. So the last "d" stands for daemon (as is the case with all such processes, e.g., launchd, wifid, powerd)."Last edited by iPinkk; 11-23-11 at 08:43 AM.
