I've had a good look about but don't seem to be able to find any help on this one so hopefully you guy's n gal's can help me out here....

I just can't get the App "Photobucket" to work!

I've deleted and re-installed various times...

I've read a lot of the reviews in the app store and it looks like i'm not the only one having the problem.... After several e-mails to Photobucket Support with no response I have given up!

Anyway.... What happens....

I try to log in to my account and it say's it can't connect:


I finally get it to log in and then it sticks for ages on this screen: (can be 5-30 minutes)


Eventually it comes up with this error:


Should it load after 30 minutes (has only happened twice) I get this message every time I try to upload something:


Maybe you know of another App that I can upload pictures too but I must be able to get the image URL once it's uploaded....

Any help on this one would be appreciated

EDIT: Also i've noticed that the Photobucket website (mobile & normal) won't load properly on my iPhone... Should they?

Are you able to login on Photobucket using a desktop?

Have you tried powering down your phone, then powering it up again?

Have you checked for updates on iTunes?

I'm just thinking out loud. I've never had a problem with it.

Yeah Desktop Photobucket works fine. I used that for the pics above.

I've restarted it a few times since (have to boot up with Blackra1n if I turn it off so don't do it that often, 3GS jailbroken)

The latest version is installed - No updates.

I just can't work it out. If you look at the App on iTunes, 76 people say it works fine and is brilliant and 77 people say it doesn't work at all and sticks/crashes.

Is your phone Jailbroke? I wonder if thats the problem

I might do a restore and try without JB now I know OS4 isn't far off.

I'm jailbroken on 3.1.2 and I used the Photobucket app as recently as last night.

Turn off the wifi on your iPhone, and then try again! One of my users had a similar issue, and it was his wifi that wasn't reading DNS properly that was causing the issue.
