Got an Otterbox Defender for my i4 on Ebay for about thirty bucks. Just use it when
I go to the gym since I tend to be rough with my phone there. Especially because
I use it as my iPod. Protects it well.

I bought one last week (see avatar). It's just too big for me, I went back to my Speck fitted. BTW the otter is for sale, see my thread in the marketplace.
I use the OB Defender. Sure it adds bulk, but I like it though as it feels good in the hand when holding the phone.
I don't have the Otter Box on the iPhone, but do have the Commuter series for the BB Storm and would recommend it for the iPhone also. It's a very nice compromise between the Defender and a lesser case. The hard outer shell with the soft inner is great protections for the device. Just be aware that the screen is still somewhat vulnerable, depending on what the phone might land on and how.
I tried it. Didn't like it. Too bulky.
My friend bought the OB defender for his iP4.
Way too bulky imo
If I owned an iphone i would go for the OB commuter series.
Ended up getting an OtterBox Defender the other day. I think I have a case addiction....
Yes the commuter is good. I still find myself going back to my Speck HD fitted case though.
I have the Defender, white on black.
I've dropped my phone a couple of times and feel it's nicely protected with the defender. I just wish they sold the rubber outside skin separately. I'd love to have the ability to "switch it up" with other colors!
great idea id love to change the skin on my defender,
and to add its an amazing case it might add bulk but if you already use a holster style case its not that bad at all
Email OtterBox customer support about the colored skins. They may sell em to you, they have great customer service!
I have to agree, Otterbox Customer Service is one of the best out there!
I've had an Otterbox for ALL my devices (iPhone's and BlackBerry's). Albeit, I may not keep them on all the time. It was only last week I removed my defender case from my iPhone, when I got home from the Dobbins Air Show ;)
You sound like me I have cases for different occasions...:D
I have OttBox Defender that I use when doing outdoor activities (camping, hiking, general yard work, etc etc..) But on a daily basis I use the incase feather clip on smoked. Good case, as others have said but doesn't do too much for the front and tops and bottoms of the i4. I also got the seidio and used it for a few weeks and I didnt care for the fact that the bottom clip slides off a lot of times when pulling it out of my pocket. So my wife uses that one now mainly because her i4 rides around in her purse all day. Anywhoo, to make a short story long: Defender with belt clip is an awesome case to get for something rugged for outdoor use etc, but the incase feather clip is good when "dressing up" or when I have to keep my phone in the pocket of jeans or dress slacks.
Got the Defender when I picked up my new 32GB IP4 today. Had one on my 3GS and the one on the IP4 is bulky, but not a much (relatively speaking) as the 3GS version. Not as sleek as many out there, but very well protected and manageable. Belt clip has good features, but just seems kinda big so may not use all the time.
