    That's awesome news, Dev Team does quality work. Looks like the 3GS will be jailbroken before it even hits the street. The only thing I could possibly need is backgrounder ported to the 3GS. That should make the multitasking issue a non-issue.

    With the new features in 3.0 and since I'm getting the 3GS, i'm not sure if I will jailbreak now. The only thing I can imagine needed it for is Backgrounder and Blacklist. Other than that, I should good in 3.0.

    hey i have the regular 3g do i need to unjailbreak my phone in oreder to get the update and can the new os be jailbroken right away

    If you're using a PC and QuickPwn... Yes, you will have to "unjailbreak" your phone, through the upgrade / restore process in iTunes and then use QuickPwn to "rejailbreak." QuickPwn (at least to this point) can not perform an upgrade for you, only jailbreak an OS that's already on the phone. The Pwnage tool for the Mac allows you to jailbreak and upgrade at the same time.

    I know you created a separate thread on this, but I just now "got" what you were getting at.
