    While on a call, is there no option to stop notifications for text, emails etc?

    A while back I thought I saw a thread about this. But can't find it...

    The Option is set on a per profile basis. Select your profile, chose Select Set Ring Tones / Alerts, pick the alert type, and set Notify Me During Calls to No.

    JeffH, you've lost me on this one. Those instructions are for a BlackBerry; surely?

    I'm asking about the feature on an iPhone. Unless of course I'm missing the option all together...

    Plus, iPhones don't have 'profiles'...

    Also, if I end a call, shouldn't my iPhone go back to the main screen, rather than the phone menu?

    I don't like that, I guess I'm picky...

    Yes.. disable 3G.

    That will prevent the emails from coming in..txt however, I'm not sure. Maybe turn the alert for txt off?
