Still adjusting to this switch from blackberry. I was wondering if there is an app that will transfer your speech into text for a text message? Similar to how the andriod phones have on there keyboards. I searched the app store but just see apps that read text. Thanks for the help.

I think there's an app called, "Dragon Dictate" or "Dragon Dictation". My iTunes store won't open, so I can't look there.

Just checked. Dragon Dictation is the one. It has an okay rating so far.

I somehow have that app and think I received
it for free. I'll take a look at it later.

Okay cool... thought there might have been
a charge. It was around the time it was
released that I got it. Thought it might have
    just been a promo.

    You use it yet?

Nah I don't even have it installed. I was just confirming the name.

Personally I don't like the voice-to-text apps. They never work well with my
    deep voice

I installed it last week (Dragon Dictation), and so far I like it.

It's not always perfect, but my best results with it so far are when I:
Speak slowly, and clearly, exagerating my enunciation slightly.
A quiet background probably doesn't hurt.

This is the first speech to text app I've used, so I have nothing to compare it to.
