Hi, long story about going from BB Storm to a HTC HD2 and then being gifted my DH's 3gs iphone eunning 4.0.2.

He had the iphone on AT&T and I need to jailbreak/unlock it to run on T-mobile. I have searched the internet for 2 days and my head is spinning.

I need to downgrade to any OS from 4.0.2 to jailbreak.

I have found tutorials for the downgrading, however they don't work on a Vista 64-bit system (which I have).

I also don't have the SHSH blobs.

Anyone out there that could give me some help?

If you don't have SHSH blobs, you can't downgrade the 3GS from 4.0.2 any more. Furthermore, there will be no jailbreak out for that particular firmware. You may as well upgrade to 4.1, since there will most likely be a jailbreak/unlock for that eventually.

Waiting - but not very patiently, 'cause I can only use this phone on our wi-fi, but not on T-mobile until the jailbreak comes.
