Hi, I was looking at the mophie juice pack air and i have two questions:
1) do you guys have one? tried one? dislikes and likes?

and 2) i heard that when you get 5 bars on your iPhone 3g S and when you put the case on it drops to 4 then when you have four bars it drops down to three

is this true?

I tried it and loved it. It worked as advertised and the fact that it's a hard case also was a plus.

Downside- very bulky so you'll also need a bulkier pouch/belt clip.

That's why I returned it.

It really works--as a battery pack. My brother used it, and he says it ruined--and I really mean RUINED--his reception. He got like no bars using it. It was terrible. But that may be just us. I can't say it ALWAYS does that.

Yeah I had it. It does ruin your reception I went from 3g at my house to getting no bars at all at times. It's very fragile also I dropped it once and it stopped working so be extra careful. I would recommend another route in the recharging battery. I thought the mophie would be good while it does do good recharging it will fk up your reception.
