Frankly I'm not too surprised, and had a feeling a lot of the rumors flying around about this next iteration were nonsense. The focus this time around was clearly more on software than hardware, although I think the hardware upgrades aren't totally unimpressive.
I'm sure they're already hard at work on the "5" though, which I'd expect some of the highlights of that device to be LTE and probably a slightly larger, higher res screen/new form factor. It's not unprecedented at all for Apple to reuse a form factor more than once. They used the original for 3 iterations don't forget.
