Curious, has anyone been able to get the LED for notifications (Settings \ General \ Accessibility \ LED Flash for Alerts) to work on the iPhone (4S)?

Apparently your flash MUST be set to ON or Auto.

A shame it doesn't work for email, too...

Yes it will work, phone must be in the lock stage, and when you turn it on slide it, not tap it. then do a hard reset.. unfortunately it will work for a while then you have to reset steps... a flaw in the os

I really miss the led. Still cannot believe it hasn't been added to the iPhone. I really miss having it.

You could always go to the bike shop and buy a flashing light and glue it to your iPhone... j/k

Apparently Apple doesn't think it's important to have a flashing red light telling you to pick up your phone and do something with it.

    And thank God.

That flashing light was the bane of my existence. All it did was make you look at your phone every 5 seconds because you thought you saw the light flashing out of the corner of your eye.

Get over it when you realize you'll never have to do a battery pull again?

Even though reboot times on a 9900 are 30 seconds or less.
