Has anyone heard if the new os (2.2?) will have this. I have to say that, plus the lack of true push email, battery life, and lack of user replaceable battery has mean leaning back to BB.

There is an app in the app store called iType, it's free and lets you type in landscape. Things I don't believe Apple will ever introduce if they haven't by now is:
MMS
cut/paste
flash
removable battery
and most importantly...HIGH QUALITY CONTROL

It's not in 2.2 beta right now, but who knows, lol. Actually we do, it isn't going to happen

you can also try firemail....it's a free email client that let's you type in landscape...

google firemail and cnet.com and they have a good video in how it works....

the will introduce landscape typing as soon as people start leaving in droves to get a BB storm!
