Usually they get the shipment that night. They did
last year and informed me I can come in whenever
I'd like to come pick it up. So I strolled in after it
AT&T opened and was told I could walk right in.
This woman started complaining right when he told
me to go in. He told her she could have pre-ordered
and I'm guessing this year everyone learned their
lessons.

Thanks for the reply. I'm going to call or go in on the 23rd to find out what time they're going to open the next day. Then I'll just try to get there before opening like I did on pre-order day.

It's usually faster, especially at Palisades. I remember
the original iPhone and 3G had a shipment almost every
3 days. The original wasn't even sold out for the first
week for me as I was able to go in, get a 4gb and then
go back the next day to switch out for the 8gb.

So does this mean the iPhones are going to be at the AT&T stores when they open on the 24th?

When I pre-ordered mine on the 15th, my store rep told me that when FedEx delivered the phones on the 24th and he got them into his hand that he would be emailing and calling his customers to come in to pick them up.

Was he mis-informed? If so, I want to be there before they open the doors.
