    I am lost and I know computers pretty much. I have tried the recommended download on this site which appears to be outdated and have tried redsn0w but get the IPSW location question. I have hidden files turned off and still nothing I have tried on Windows 7 and Vista with no success. Lost guys...the original just locks everything up due to 3.01... is there an answer

    The OS I installed and that worked just fine with redsn0w .08 is iPhone2,1_3.0_7A341_Restore.ispw
