    I apologize if I missed this while searching:

    I have purchased an iPod touch. I can get an iPhone 4 case for free from a family member. Will the iPod touch fit correctly in the iPhone 4 case?

    I've seen the sizes are close (within millimeters of each other), but I don't want the iPod to rattle or worse yet, not quite fit.

    I think the issue you will run into is the rounded back of the iPod touch VS the Squared off back of the iPhone

    The ipod is considerably slimmer, but as AP said, the rounded back will not let the case hold it right.
