Hello All, I have a question about the iPhone 4. I am a BB user so I'm not too familiar with the iPhone. My mother in law recently purchased the iPhone and she is running into problems when talking on the phone, she continuously mutes, disconnects phone calls. Is there an app to lock the screen while on phone calls? I know there are apps for bb but i cannot find anything for the iPhone. Please and thank you in advance.

There is a proximity sensor on the front of the device, up by the ear piece. If she holds the phone up to her face it should stay off while she is on a call. The proximity sensor is kind of flaky on the i4, so if you don't hold the phone all the way up to the side of your ear the screen will flicker on.

If she's updated to 4.1, and she's still having the problem, tell her to take it the Apple Store and get it exchanged.

i think what the OP is saying is they want to be able to lock the screen so the end button and mute button are not accidently pressed
