To iPhone bashing users: It's hard for you to accept the fact that the iPhone is doing great and will continue to do great. I also find it funny how most of you don't have or never have had an iPhone. The some of you who have, didn't have it for long or long enough. I also think it's funny how those of you who did try it out come back and complain about the features the iPhone is lacking... didn't you know that prior to buying it? Or is this your best attempt at saying, "I owned the device, but still think it sucks"?
The app store is the best and will be that way for a long time. Android will be next and then Palm's App Catalog. There have always been app stores for BlackBerry devices, just because RIM is heading it, doesn't mean it's going to do better than how it's already been doing. RIM will can win, but it won't be by the app store, that's for sure -- at least not with the memory leaking, no memory card storing, battery pulling OS that we currently have (including 5.0).
I keep seeing people saying that the iPhone and Apple has been out for 3 years and this is why it's so good... I didn't know they had BlackBerry flavored kool-aid because the iPhone has only been out for a little over two years and didn't nothing has changed with the touchscreen as it worked out the box and still continues to work. The touchscreen was a success on the first shot. The iPhone's app store only came in to play last year. What was the excuse for the 2Gs being so successful? Why are all the ratings in favor of the iPhone by large margins (profit, market share growth, satisfaction etc...)?
I have an 8900 and I don't want or intend to use an iPhone, but I'm not stupid. I'm getting my doctorate soon, top of my class currently, so I'm guessing it takes someone of intelligence to see and acknowledge the facts and reality.
To make this clear (without calling out names), there are a few people who keep creating threads (or even posting in current) to make fun of the iPhone and/or have no intent on saying anything good about it... get a life. Are you bored at home with no girl or your spouse is to busy with the kids to give you any? Be real with yourselves... if bashing the iPhone consistently and constantly is making you happy, then you're sad. I just did a search on one particular user and his posts. He started and has 6 threads in the iPhone 3G forums, but doesn't have/use the device... sounds like a stalker to me, you're probably the creep that tried to follow me home last night. Get a girl or get Viagra and be your own girl.

Let them soil their pants as bashing the iPhone is what gets them off. It's funny, I know of quite a few Storm owners (me being a ex user) on these forums who think the same about these iPhone bashers. Proof of this? I never cared for the app store as I've never been an app person, but this doesn't make a device a failure because it's succeeding in this area. My b/f (a member of CB) has the iPhone and enjoys his. I have my 8900 and I enjoy mine. I'll continue to watch before I get him in trouble. Enjoy your day all.

I can see how you may "Think" that the storm users may feel this way against the iPhone but that simply isnt the case.

Just wait till storm 2 comes out, and tell me how technologically advanced your iPhone is compared to the Odin then....its going to blow 3gs out of the water.....or in your case the fire.Why is the iPhone so immature? Do you know how many High School students use BBs? I see more children with BBs than I do iPhones. In fact, the number is probably equal since EVERYONE wants a BB or an iPhone. Why wouldn't they?
