    I agree, it is an awesome phone. The battery life just leaves something to be desired. The 9700 looks awesome though, I hope I get my hands on one soon.

    I looked at a lot of blackberrys and I saw it shows 3.6 mbps and the iphone at 7.4mbps is this true?

    I just switched to the iPhone today. I didn't choose the bold 9700 because it isn't that great of an upgrade for me to consider. But if you have a lot of international friends, bbm will come in handy. If I had more international friends with blackberries, I would have chose the 9700. You have to weigh your wants and needs to see which phone meets those requirements. Good luck making your choice.

    iPhone is capable of 7.2. You'd need some kind of HSDPA service from your provider though and 7.2 is still only the theoretical max, you'd probably be getting around 2-3mbps actual speed depending on coverage, etc. Either way, if you do have HSDPA service you won't notice too much of a difference between the two.
