Well I think its a 16gb 3G he has. I dont know where you guys are getting your pricing from but the average seems to be about $400-500 for one on ebay. The HIGHEST one with a bid on it right now is one at $600, and the next at $550. If the Nexus is $575 or so, then its right there averaged.

If it was 16 or 32GB 3GS then Id agree, but in this case its a pretty even trade honestly if OP can do an even trade. But I do agree $100 plus the phone is BS. Theyre worth about the same.

yea its a iphone 3g, I agree with you stuaw11 they need to make a higher capacity battery even if its 2cm more. its a great phone but battery sucks.

If I walk into Apple, or AT&T a 32GB 3Gs costs 699 retail.

i was thinkin about getting the nexus 1.my batt on my iphone 3g is ridicolous. Im doing the same thing everyday and sometimes it would last 2 days and sometimes less then a day. any solutions guys?

The battery on the n1 sucks as well.

heard the battery was better than the iphone 3g....my battery is about the same as everyone elses on here, typically use it for emails a few times a day, messaging, safari and usually about 45 min of ipod for running. Battery life is around 55-65% on average. Thats unplugging the phone at 8am, till about 10pm.

One thing that drains the battery is using the phone part. You'll notice when you use the phone more, even if other things like using apps are less that day, your battery life will suck a lot more.

Edit: Bluetooth will demolish the battery. I use it at the gym, start at 100% and when I leave, I'm usually around 70%-80%.

yeah with the above usage I stated, it include about 20-40min talk time.... battery life does suck though!
