Okay well here's my problem, I've got 3 iPhones on T-Mobile, 2 3gs and 1 3g we all send pictures to each other just fine.. But when we recieve pictures from other people we get this message:

"The media content was not included due to a picture resolution or message size restriction."

This is extremely annoying.. Is there anyone that has a solution for this problem?

    Thanks in advance,
    DJ Spaded

...the pictures you're sending\receiving are they taken with a normal camera, or with the iPhone camera?

They're both some are taken with the iPhone others are taken from other phones.. Such as a blackberry 8350i, which my sister owns..

Just a guess here, it may have something to do with not being able to use the 3G from TMO with the iPhone. I'm really not sure but it's about the only thing that I can think of. If you have another phone on TMO then you may be able to test that, but like I said I'm just guessing here.

    @crackvegas78 is probably right.

As a test, take a photo, then EMAIL it to someone and see how it transmits. If it transmits correctly, then I agree it's 3G related.

Oh, another test what if you turn off the carrier service, and try sending a photo via wifi...

    Methods of Installation:

Whichever method you choose, always Reset Network Settings after installation:

    * Settings -> General -> Reset -> Reset Network Settings -> Reset Network Settings

After your phone automatically reboots, reset your network-related settings found in the Cellular Data window:

    * Settings -> General -> Network -> Cellular Data Network -> Reset Settings -> Reset

I was having the same exact problem. You are going to want to use the info for the blackberry flex paid. If you manually enter it in and it still doesnt work go to cydia and click on sections and scroll down to tweaks and click it. Scroll down to the "t" section and you will see a list of 6 you can choose from. Click the 2nd one and install it. it will be the blackberry one. After the install is done, reset the phone and voila you now will be able to receive mms from other people without the damn annoying error!

I tried the links above and at one point I could send but not receive, then I cleared my setting again and could do neither so I finally got it fixed.

First I went to settings, reset...and I clicked reset network setting.

Once the phones boots, you'll have to readd in your wifi password.

Open Cydia and add following source:

    Cydia.pushfix.info

Then let Cydia do it's thing and then go that source and find T-Mobile US MMS Fix

After that reboot, then go into settings, general, network, cellular data network...look under MMS all the info should be there except the APN (the APM under MMS)...type in wap.voicestream.com

    Reboot and try it

Worked for my 2 iphones. Hope it works for you.

Hello. I see you are using a Iphone 3g on T-mobile. Are you getting 3g or just Edge. I had someone offer me an Iphone 3gs for my Blackberry Bold 9780. I want to make sure I get 3g before I trade. I am also on T-Mobile.

You cannot get 3G on an iPhone with any model as the 3G frequencies are different, it could be an i4 and still will be EDGE
