Not sure if anyone is watching the WWDC stream...

I have to say...new ios7 is similar change as bb users have experienced moving to bb10. Looks like they took Win8 mobile design, Android features and BB10 gestures and called it revolutionary.

I knew they had to move forward, but those apple users who came on here saying bb10 sucks and they love their simple iOS will get an awakening.

Well I'm a Z10 owner and I will be getting a new iPhone based on this.

I love my Z10, I loved my iPhone, all tech is borrowed from other tech, but it astounds me that Apple polished the gestures more in far less time than BlackBerry did.

They just did what BlackBerry had to do, and in months as opposed to years.

I'm sorry if some don't like that, but Apple nailed this.

In my opinion, all they have done is kill all cydia tweaks, there is no reason to jailbreak anymore.

Left, right up down gestures to get in and out of pages. without the home button. BB10 swipe unlock as well it seems like.

Reeneebob - you are probably right. They will win with built quality and reliability with take features from other OS's. smart move. And quick too.

who really care? i wish some bootleg company will copy all the best idea and make the best phone. u feel more pride that the company you love came up with the idea first? ppl have way too much personal attachment to a company.

i predict a lot more of these threads will pop up for next few hours. trying to bash ios7 and saying they copied bb. the typical mindset of CB

I do like the card system alot. I loved it on webOS and I think its a great move for Apple. I do wish BB would have kept more of the card design from the playbook on BB10

The point is that when other companies do anything even remotely looking like something from apple they run crying to a judge and yet are very quick to steal ideas from everyone else and them claim they are magical, so it is no wonder that people choose to mock them for it.

but they have a huge ecosystem. So BB better get moving on adding features and apps. As it stands, BB is WAY too slow in getting things out. I think it's time for someone to take them over because it's obvious they can't keep up.

    I heart this.

What blows my mind is they just did all the polishing BlackBerry needs to do and did it in less than a quarter of the time.

I can't get over how clean it looks and the way it interacts with your movements.

Took apple months what BlackBerry took years?

ios stating in developement in 2002 fast forward to 2013 now they have gestures. do the math 11 years.

QNX acquired in 2010 Playbook OS realesed in 2011(first guesture based OS), BlackBerry 10 2013- 1 year for first geusture based OS 3 years for BB10.

Not sure how you get months as it took 11 years for ios to become guesture based as it took 1 for qnx to get geusture based.

I'm not so sure it would work so well on a smaller device, look at the ios 7 demos, those were all done on an ipad not an iphone, presumably because that is where they look best.

Because BlackBerry delayed bb10 from its original release in October to February. They bought qnx in 2010. So it took BlackBerry 3 years to make a gesture based os, and Apple just improved the performance and polished the interface of their rebuild in less than a year.

So yes. I'm sorry if your sensibilities are offended.

They just did a floor to ceiling redesign of their os just like BlackBerry did. And here it is, 4 months after the release of os 10 (which I still love, don't get me wrong, I just don't feel some compulsion to hate anything not BlackBerry like some here do),and Apple has polished the gestures and performance while we still wait for that same polishing to come from BlackBerry.

You can't compare iOS7 to iOS3. Sorry. No. It's like comparing bb7 to bb10. You also can't compare play books os to bb10.

I'm pretty sure the apps still start from splash screen after multi tasking..or is it only certain apps do that at the moment? Cause most of mines on my gf ip5 do
