Just saw this on Twitter this morning, thought I'd share for all the "fanboi's" to read.

I use an app called "Trend Smart Surfing". It's pretty much fool proof.
Its in the wrong section though, needs to be in the Iphone forum.

The main reason for posting here is because I know I don't frequent the "iphone" forums, have no need to, but notice that we get alot of iphone users posting in the Storm forums and wanted to share with the Storm users as well.;)
Case in point, your title reads you have a "Bold and HTC" yet here you are reading in the Storm forums. :D
What's even funnier is you have "Apple" promoting how good the Iphone is for business and coporate use on their site.:rolleyes:

Yes, because the Blackberry has never been compromized or had weaknesses in the near past. :rolleyes:
Remember the data farming app being pushed by a carrier a few months ago?
Remember the patches all BB OSs needed for some kind of exploit found within the past year as well?
Case in point, NOTHING is secure. MacOS is not more secure then Windows is... people that use Macs just feel safer and more secure for the same reason that people who live on farms in the middle of nowhere can leave their doors and windows unlocked and feel secure. (This last part is actually taken from a security person online who when I read it felt it was a very good analogy.) No one's bothered with the smaller platforms because you can hit more people with the more popular platforms. That being said, MacOSX just has 20 something exploits published just last week I think. Apple's working to patch those up... :rolleyes:
In any of my posts above, never did I state that one was better or more secure than the other, just tired of everybody preaching how "flawless" the "jesus" phone is and bashing the blackberry cause it can't do this or can't do that like the "jesus" phone can, so you can roll eyes till your blue in the face, considering I've never seen a post of yours that was helpful, all I've ever seen of you is "b1tch, b1tch, b1tch, whine, whine, whine, complain, complain, complain". Christ, I might have a post count that high if that's all I came on here for too.

That's probably because you don't look around... Try looking in the 8830 and 9530 forums and dig through some of my writeups, fixes, and other threads. Sure, as of late there's been a lot of negativity in my posts for obvious reasons, but that's come after months of getting tired of dealing with subpar software and hardware coming out of RIM. Someone's got to make some waves to wake everyone up from time to time.
I've never understood the "Jesus Phone" label. Acts 2:1 says the early disciples drove Hondas, but there's nothing in the Bible about the disciples using iPhones, much less Jesus using one...
Also another eason is that he probably gets more views and responses here. Most iPhone users are on TiPB so this is where he'll be heard most.
Charlie Miller has not posted the 20, rumor has it he didn't post the one this year that won him the event, saying that they can find it themselves (miller only does this for publicity for his company).
The iPhone (and any robust OS) will have vulnerabilities, that's a fact of life. The Jesus phone (I heard god is switching to WP7S and traded his Honda for a Benz) Android, Windows, WebOS, Symbian, and RIMs OS can be compromised with one click of a stupid user. These remote hacks rely on the user being a dumbass to be honest.
The iPhone is still pretty secure, but FYI people, if security is your highest priority, I can gurantee you ARE NOT LEISURELY SURFING THE NET ON THAT DEVICE. That in itself eliminates the possibilities of being infected by anything.

The same thing is true about PCs as well. Stupid people get the funk. lol I love it when someone tells me they didn't do anything, it just happened. OK, sure... it just happened all by itself. **** doesn't just happen... something triggered it and 99.99% of the time it's user triggered. The other .01% of the time is open port compromization via exploits or open accounts.... which in my book still equates to a stupid user jumping on a network connection.
the "Dumb-Masses" keep the hackers & spammers in business, they rely on their ignorance. It perpetuates those activities; there will always be the "dumb masses." Kinda like the wolf packs in the woods, they wait for a weakling to stray away from the pack and pounce!
Precisely. I have to tell my friends that you can still just as easily get a virus or malware on a mac just as easily as a Windows PC. Before my iMac was forced upon me I had made it easily 6 years on Windows without a virus, it really boils down to the user.
It's human nature to not want to accept blame for screwing something up, and people would rather pawn it off on something than realize it wouldn't have happened without them.

Agreed, yet in my eyes, nothing more than trolling to start some sh1t and then make it sound like I'm comparing, which I clearly stated in my OP that I wasn't:rolleyes:

While a number of people will point out some companies will let the iphone onto their network, a lot of other companies will not. It's articles like these that cause CTOs to stay up worrying all night about if an iphone is really safe with their corporate data.
