I have an iphone 3g, but it has old information such as contacts and music. I wanted to know how to wipe it all off and leave it brand NEW. Any help would be appreciated!
    Thanks!

Connect it to iTunes and click the restore button. Once it restores decline the option
to restore a previous backup. You're all good after that.

You can also do it from the phone. Go to:

Settings > General > Reset > Erase All Content and Settings.

That's what they did at the Apple Store once when I had to do an exchange. Alternatively, you can insert a passcode and get it wrong 10X.
